Well, that’s her! What a great friggin’ tour.
It’s also nice to finish it off at a nice sold out show at The Carleton, I love that venue.
I can’t thank you all enough for coming out, buying tickets to the shows, hanging out, having some great conversations and most of all taking the time to listen to my new record.
I’m off to the UK w/ my Celtic band, ‘The East Pointers’ for a few weeks and then it’s summer festival season! Looking forward to seeing you when the sun’s shining and perhaps I’ll have a n-ice cold beer in my hand ; )
Last night was a pretty epic night, not gonna lie. I can’t thank you all enough for coming out and making the 1st stop of my album release tour a success. To see almost 600 people rockin’ out to my tunes… Pretty friggin’ special.
Have a quick look at this quick teaser from the show (shot by Kyle Simpson of Lowell Productions). Can’t wait to get the rest of this footage together : )
Over the past year I’ve been much more conscious of how I live, what I eat, what can be reused, etc and I feel so much better.
The last stretch of shows I did, I made a goal of finding a local coffee shop, local beer and a restaurant who supported local farmers in every city I visited. It can be difficult but once you eat the food, drink the coffee or beer it’s so much better! It really just makes sense.
I consider myself a little late on this train (better late than never, I guess) but it really makes sense to take the extra time and learn about where your every day supplies are coming from.
A commitment that I’m working on and will definitely continue in the future.
Happy Earth Day!
Now that I’m in the record collecting business (not really, but I try), I try to support as many record stores as possible.
Today at Back Alley Music in Charlottetown they had some good tunes, food and some records on sale… These were my picks (and that’s my young feller, Ollie).
Happy Record Store Day!
Well, this is kinda cool : ) Thanks to The Trews for handing over a gold record to me for ‘Highway of Heroes’!
It was an honour playing and singing on this track along with performing it many-a-time on the road.
Such a heartfelt song, still gives me goosebumps when I hear it on the radio.
Another amazing East Coast Music Association week in the books! What a time (not so much a time catching the 6am flight after jamming all night but that’s another story).
Congrats to all the nominees and winners, already looking forward to next year.
After doing so many great opening dates w/ Colin James and The Stellas across Canada, I’ll be embarking on a headlining tour through Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Ontario!
‘Lost In Light’ has been out for over a month now (I’m very grateful about how well it’s been going, so thank you) and it’s time to do a proper album release tour! So have a look at my Tour Dates Page (all ticket info is up as well) and c’mon out to a show! I can’t even wait.
