So, two days after I arrived home from Australia, Tian and Nat met me in Toronto and we shot a couple of acoustic videos with Mitch Fillion (Southern Souls). He shoots some amazing videos so I’d recommend checking out his other work. We played in a bus stop on a rainy day then made our way to a bar for a couple of drinks and tunes… Enjoy!

Well, I’m pretty friggin’ honoured, I just found out this evening that I won Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2012 Canadian Organization of Campus Activities (COCA) conference! The award was voted on by the students and staff of Canadian universities so I’m absolutely thrilled. Pumped to get back out on road and visit you all again this fall!

So I’m back home safe and sound, finally over the ol’ jet lag and it’s almost summer! A bit better than leaving the Australian summer for the Canadian winter last time. I had such an amazing trip, finished off with a bang playing a slew of shows with Tim Freedman and some fellow east coasters, Matt Andersen and David Myles. Rumour has it that I’ll be back in December… Can’t wait! Once again, thanks to all the lovely Australia folk for being so hospitable and taking care of me 🙂

I dropped into my Australia record label the other day to record a couple of acoustic songs for them and this is the first of 3! An acoustic version of Broken Hearted Beat 🙂 Enjoy!

So I made it to Australia alive after an extremely long flight, man it sucks the life right outta ya! After all the flying to Sydney, I just hopped on another plane and landed in Brisbane this afternoon. I’m playing a show at the Sol Bar in Maroochydore and then doing a couple shows at the Planting Festival this weekend. I’ve been sick since I got here which really sucks but I’m hoping to kick it fast! Oh yes and thanks to Gibson Australia, I have two beautiful travel companions for the next month (which happen to be my two favourite guitars). Cheers!

I’m very excited to announce that I’m heading back down under the whole month of May – playing shows for ye’all. Can’t wait! Dates are below!

Hey folks, so most of the tracking for the record is complete – very pumped about how it’s sounding! It wouldn’t be happening without Mr. Colin Linden. What a guy. Probably one of the nicest fellas you’d ever meet and just happens to be absolutely ridiculous at the guitar (and producing). He’s taking my songs in a direction I could never imagine and bringing out the best of what I’ve got. Can’t wait for everyone to hear it!
